Hello, my name is Sarah Kolb. I am a multimedia journalist, graduating in May 2013 from Northern Arizona University with by Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism, and an emphasis in Environmental Science and Sustainability.
I am interested in a position that will allow me to use my writing and reporting skills, as well as learn more about multimedia reporting, science writing and broadcast. I have experience in print, film, radio and photography.
For the past year, I’ve been the news director for NAZToday, Northern Arizona University’s local TV news station (and the only local TV station in Flagstaff). I’ve produced, anchored and worked as a backpack journalist for this station since 2009. I also worked as an intern with KNAU Arizona Public Radio, and have had print work published in Flagstaff Business News.
I was raised in the gorgeous town of Flagstaff, Arizona and the outdoors have always been a passion of mine. I’m an avid runner, cellist and science fiction buff. I’ve recently relocated to Colorado.
